A rematch of Cain Velasquez Returns and Brock Lesnar

CrownJewel

After the October 2019 defeat, Cain Velasquez will be trying to avenge his big loss to the WWE superstar Brock Lesnar at the Crown Jewel this year. To make the story unfold, Cain Velasquez will be competing at the WWE Royal Rumble to eliminate the Beast and set up a higher profile rematch between these two competitors.

  • Each year, the race falls on the first Sunday of the month. This year that date happens to be May 4. It's perhaps the crown jewel of a crowded sports betting weekend that also includes boxing, NBA postseason, and NHL playoffs. NBC has been home to the Kentucky Derby since 2001 and this year is no different.

To make the story unfold, Cain Velasquez will be competing at the WWE Royal Rumble to eliminate the Beast and set up a higher profile rematch between these two competitors.

Some people believe that the event will require the UFC heavyweight champions to win the Royal Rumble match, but that is not true. There is adequate time between the Royal Rumble and the WrestleMania for these long-time rivals to settle their long time differences, which include a return to Saudi Arabia.

Crown Jewel 2019 Betting Odds

Velasquez might eliminate Lesnar easily and eliminate himself by doing that. The intense rivalry between the two wrestlers might lead to a rematch in the country that played host to their greatest disgrace. Cain’s involvement in Royal Rumble to eliminate Lesnar looks like a sure surprise to all fans. The matches might take most of the time you need to play videoslots in top casinos.

Roman Reigns gets the ticket for WrestleMania Championship Match

Roman Reigns returned from time off earlier in February 2019 to compete at the WrestleMania after a leukaemia diagnosis. But since then, Reigns has not received any world title opportunity. Instead, he was saddled with rivalries, which pitted him against Shane McMahon, Drew Mclntyre and King Corbin, who worked hard to limit his exposure. With the WrestleMania season approaching, Roman Reigns is poised to return to The Showcase of the Immortals, which is his main event. To do that, he has to win his Royal Rumble match.

Roman Reigns has been a quiet SmackDown constant, a centrepiece of the booking and a key attraction for the show, which is shown on broadcast TV. After pushing over Corbin and McMahon, it is now the time to try and win the title he never lost. Roman Reigns had to give up the Universal Championship after leukaemia return in October 2018. Trying to win the title is a story that writes itself, the chapters might include the Rumble, and Crown Jewel wins.

Daniel Bryan vs. Bray Wyatt

In 2014, Bray Wyatt and Daniel Bryan debuted the Royal Rumble PPV with a low-key great match of the year. At the Survivor Series in November 2019, they reminded their fans about the incredible in-ring chemistry with a match that offered Wyatt’s The Fiend character, which is his first high-quality title defence. Expect something similar from the two as they steal the show from Underneath the Rumble matches and work to prove the WWE officials should revisit their rivalry after The Showcase of the Immortals.

Barbarism in the match will allow Bryan to unleash his fury and frustration on the opponent, therefore, repaying The Fiend for a violent and brutal assault that concluded the SmackDown episode on Friday. The fight will also freshen up things and add a wrinkle and even the odds slightly. Up to now, The Fiend is an unstoppable force of nature. Expect a match threatening his reign to keep the fans captivated, invested and allows Bryan to tease his victory before Wyatt pulls out his win and continues with the great run.

Shayna Baszler Remains undefeated

Shayna Baszler is back to the pay-per-view Survivor Series and she defeated Bayley, women’s champion in SmackDown, and Becky Lynch, women’s champion in RAW in the primary event. Her return and winning in the2020 women’s Royal Rumble should not surprise you. WWE teased showdowns between Lynch and the Queen of Spades, which must extend to allow The Man to answer her defeat. The NXT women’s champion might move a step closer to avenging the November 2019 attack and earn a RAW title on the grandest stage of wrestling.

It might be easy for Baszler to accomplish the NXT. She has defeated almost everyone who has entered the ring with her. She has also dominated the women’s division brand. And now, she has the time to become bigger, better or more competitive, starting with the signature victory in the fledgeling career.

WWE Crown Jewel 2019 takes place on October 31st, 2019 and what a stacked card it is.

Initially when WWE went to Saudi Arabia it seemed like the events weren’t being treated as “important”. However that’s all changed now and we have an absolutely massive show taking place on Thursday.

The two most notable fights of course are Braun Strowman vs boxing superstar Tyson Fury, and the newly signed Cain Velasquez vs Brock Lesnar.

However we’ve also got the nine team tag turmoil, Team Hogan vs Team Flair and Seth Rollins vs The Fiend in a Falls Count Anywhere match.

Before we go any further, let’s look at where to bet Crown Jewel and what the betting odds are:

WWE Crown Jewel 2019 Betting Tips & Analysis:

Team Hogan (-600) vs Team Flair (+400): There’s probably value on Team Flair but I just can’t advise it. Team Hogan likely win although I’d have Team Flair at +200. Still not worth advising though.

Tyson Fury (-600) vs Braun Strowman (+400): You just have to look at how they booked Mike Tyson for how this one will likely go. With Fury and Strowman standing back to back in the ring fending off evil. That’s my prediction that they both come out of this with face reactions after some sort of interference. Either way no bet for me.

Brock Lesnar (-210) vs Cain Velasquez (+160): An interesting match. On paper yes Brock is the favourite. One standing theory is “Brock gets his win back” plus Cain is the newcomer and giving him the title sounds crazy. On the other hand Brock has been willing to do the job before – see Bill Goldberg – knowing there is money in the rematch. WWE is scrambling due to ratings demise, and the idea of a fresh champion isn’t the worst idea. The most likely result is some sort of no contest. Or hey perhaps Cain, the WWE newcomer, gets DQ’d for not following the rules. Who knows? However when you think long term or even short term, a champion switch may not be the worst thing. It would be good for Smackdown too in terms of a necessary ratings bump. Brock should be favourite, but I am not ruling out some sort of upset here. 1/4u on Cain Velasquez to win.

Mansoor (-1500) vs Cesaro (+700) Pretty much set up for Mansoor to win and look good against one of the best workers in the business. No bet.

Tag Team Turmoil: Does anyone really care? Heh. The New Day are the favourites but The Viking Raiders are undefeated. Could be an easy way for them to beat the Raiders if they want to end their unbeaten streak – have them go long and then the New Day win. Can write it off as exhaustion. They do seem to be attempting to build Viking Raiders though so I’m good with 1/2u on the Raiders at +160. As really it’s between them and New Day in my opinion and so getting +160 on a coinflip is worth it.

Seth Rollins (-160) vs Bray Wyatt (+120) So this one is a falls count anywhere and they are saying there must be an ending. Do WWE roll it back and put the title on The Fiend? I can’t see it myself. I’m good to bet 1u on Seth Rollins to win.

Battle Royal: The winner gets to fight AJ Styles I believe. Humberto Carrilo is the favourite. I’m going to place a bet on the favourite and then a bet on an underdog as well. 1u on Humbert Carrilo to win and then 1/4u on Randy Orton to win simply because Orton is the biggest name in there. Although likely Humberto eliminates him.

Note that Orton isn’t listed in the Battle Royal but is available to bet at 5dimes. If you bet and he doesn’t compete you’ll get your money back.

WWE Crown Jewel 2019 Betting Picks:

  1. 1/4u on Cain Velasquez
  2. 1/2u on Viking Raiders
  3. 1u on Seth Rollins
  4. 1u on Humberto
  5. 1/4u on Randy Orton
